La cultura hispana es muy interesante, y puedo expresar el reconocimiento para la cultura y la historia de esta gente.
I am interested in taking this class because I love to learn Spanish. I am going to be a nurse in the emergency room, and I am able to speak and care for Spanish speaking patients. I think Hispanic culture is very interesting, and I can express my appreciation for the culture and people through my work.

I was interested in taking this class because I needed more credits for my minor and because I wanted to continue my spanish. I want to use the language in my career, and I hope to continue studying after this class. The Hispanic culture has encouraged my travels to Chile, and that is expressed in my articles.

Yo vengo de una familia latinóamericana. Mi mamá es mexicana y mi papá es guatemalteco. Nací en Waukegan, IL donde hay una grande comunidad hispana. El español y la cultura mexicana han tenido una gran influencia en mi vida y es por eso que me interesó ser parte de Mosaicos. Creo que tengo mucho que ofrecer y también mucho que aprender. La cultura latinoamericana tiene una bella historia y se las quiero compartir.
I come from a Latin American family. My mom is Mexican and my dad is Guatemalan. I was born and raised in Waukegan, IL which is home to a large hispanic community. I decided to be part of Mosaicos because the Spanish language and Mexican culture has had a great influence in my life. I believe that I have a lot to offer, but there is still much to learn. Latin America has a very rich history, and I hope to share that with you.

I live in a world that is very diverse due to its creation by various groups and cultures. The multitude of Latin American and Hispanic groups, as well as a mixture of other cultures, create a unique identity in this part of the world. Like our world, the design of our magazine is complex and varied like a mosaic. This is a representation of life and culture. This class gives us the opportunity to change the minds of those in the world who don’t particularly like that complexity of life.
